In the Ukrainian House in Kyiv, as a part of the solemn events dedicated to 75 years since the Babyn Yar tragedy, the presentation and awarding for the three best projects for the memorial park «Babyn Yar – Dorohozhychi Necropolis».

In the Kyiv History Museum opened the multimedia exhibition «Babyn Yar: Memory on History’s Background», where the best projects for the memorial park «Babyn Yar –Dorohozhychi Necropolis» are presented.

The International jury at their session in Kyiv announced 7 best projects that won the competition.

The deadline for submitting entries for the competition expired on May 22nd. Altogether, 32 designs from 15 countries around the world were submitted.

During the registration period the International Architectural Ideas Competition for complex integration of Memorial Area 'Babyn Yar - Dorohozhychi Necropolis' in Kyiv, Ukraine received 86 applies from 30 countries.

Completed the formation of the international jury of competition.

The jury consisted of renowned architects and historians from nine countries.
